How to get certified on SAP Sybase products?

Hi SAP/Experts,

Upon checking, inorder to get certified on SAP Sybase products atleast (ASE, Replication Server), these days we must have a valid learning hub subscription (professional edition or digital platform edition). After enrolling and completing the e-learning courses related to SAP Syabse products(starting with EDB*)through a valid subscription, what is the next step to go for certification exam? Please advise as this is really important for us.

Regards,
Dilip Voora

Hi Dilip,

You can check the availability (and validity) of all SAP certifications at training.sap.com/certification/validity.

According to the list, certifications for products with Sybase technology are no longer available.

In other words, although they still may be valid, you can no longer take the C_SASEAA157 or C_TADM54_75 exams

Answers your question?

Hi Denys,

C_TADM54_75 we can enroll but it is of no use as it covers only a bit of ASE. We are looking for a full fledged certification exam on ASE and Replication which atleast valid for 5 years.

Hi Dilip,

Just checked and indeed it appears that the certification page is still available and the exam can be scheduled

However, the certification is no longer listed as valid.

I would double check with SAP Training before pursuing. Most NetWeaver-based exams have been retired (but indeed, this concerns an SAP BASIS certification with a little bit of database).

All former Sybase certifications are no longer available.

As Matthias mentioned, there is a badge

for completing the learning journey(s)

Hi Denys,

We don't want to go with C_TADM54_75 at all, as it inclined towards Fiori and Basis. Yes, we will expedite to get a valid learning hub subscription atleast to earn the badges.

Hello Dilip,

Have you completed the ASE Knowledge Badge in the meantime?

Stay safe, Matthias

Hi Matthias,

We are working closely with our vendor manager for getting a valid subscription to access LB to earn the badges.
