I have started some hands-on in SAP Datasphere where they asked to create an SAP Hana DB connection and When I looked into my trial account, I didn't have access to create the connection. whereas the admin has access to provide, but now, as the course is closed, their Q&A and discussion forum are made available for read-only purposes. Can anyone help me with my GE account for creating local connections in SAP Datasphere?

Hello,
You do not get Admin privileges in the GE account. The openSAP course you are referring to covers all the aspects of the tool so that you understand the features/possibilities of the tool. So the answer to your question is - you cannot connect your HANA DB to your Datasphere GE account.
Moreover, in a real project, it is more of an SAP BASIS activity to establish the connectivity between HANA DB and Datasphere. Your job is just to help BASIS to choose a connection type based on the features you want to use.

Mandar

I saw the support option but whenever I tried to ask anything, it showed like failed to connect.
