Hi
I would like to do SAP FICO certification, but i have some doubts in this regard.
1. I have experience in Financial research field, does it adds me something if i do certification ?
2. which certified training institute is good.
3. which module gives me more opportunities. FI or CO ?
Thanks
Swapna
Hi Swapna,
Certification may help you to market yourself in a better way to the SAP world. However, please go through the following thread to understand some of the myths. Please note that Certification cannot give you any guarantee for your job.
If you are India, you may have to appear at SAP / Authorised Training Partners. This is a costly affair.
Otherwise, you should have 2+ years of implementation experience and must be working with SAP Partner. If you train at local institutes, then SAP will not allow you for certification based on that training.
If you are at all going for Certification, may be the following thread would help you.
Though FI and CO are separate certifications now, but functionally, they are inseparable. Therefore, you cannot just learn just one. You should have knowledge of both. I would suggest you start with FI and then also learn your CO.
Best Regards,
Ravi
