Hi,

Am Sirisha from Hyderabad and i have completed my graduation in 2004. (BCOM(Computers). i dont have much of technical knowledge. but i apsire to work in SAP environment and i joined ABAP/4.7ee last month am learning as if now. Actually my personal interest is at Analysis end rather than as an ABAPER. so, from some people i heard that ABAP + BW (Businees ware house) is a good combination to explore and there are wide job offers too. i have a plan to go abroad too. Can you to suggest me something here. Do i go for BW classes after my ABAP classes and will that really help me to make up my career in SAP.

Am really confused at this stage also spending lot of money.

Thanks n regards ,

Sirisha

Sirisha.

My advice to you would be take a step at a time rather than having the plan to jump. If I would have been in your place would try and get some work experience as soon as I finish the ABAP course and later build up skills to reach the goal to become an analyst.

ABAP would be my suggestion too. Gradually you can move on, once you have enogh knowledge to make a decission. If the project that you are working on has BW then you could get BW training for free.

Hi Sirisha

Don't get confused ,the thing like u learned it now can be in any Tech what i would suggest you is to try to learn more and explore ABAP through your work as you said u have interest in business warehouse then later you can go on to learn SAP BW as your ABAP experience will come handy in BW as well and u'll be better positioned. Rest if you have a strong interest to move on in BW immediately then go ahead but do learn it from an authorized study center as ROI is always in to consideration. all the best
