having doubt about SAP Certification and other?

Helli, this is jayakumar. Im bi.tech student from Electrical n electronics branch. I done .net course and now want to take SAP course, due to its demand. Imi have medium knowledge on programming. Please help to take which module is better to me now and to future. Some suggested me to take ABAP, . BI. . . HANNA. Which is better to me and help me to step into job.

And

secondly, i recently asked abt training and certification at Atos. It cost around 4lakhs. Is there any way,that we learn in normal training institites and then write certification exam?. . . .Did we get job witout certification,is certification mandatory?

Please help get out of all these. . .Thank you

Hi Gosangi Jayakumar,

As there are suggestions from fellow members,just on the other side the course fee is expensive but the future will be bright as well, think of an investment for a long term, although if you are lucky enough to join any SAP Partner in the early days & complete say 1-2 years with the same partner then you will be eligible to write the exam with only minimum fees.

thank you sir for the reply.  someone supposed  me to do online certification rather than going through sap partners,so im asking all these.

Hi,

What i mean was If you join  as a consultant in any SAP organization who  would be SAP partnered, then there will be drive to do certification for employee who are not certified  for which  you need to pay only exam fees not course fees.

As far as i know there are 2 types of training

1. Class room - which will be 25-45 days depend on the training partner.

2. eLearning or Online training- where you can go to the training center whenever you get time, need to check with the center with timings. where you can opt for 3 or 5 months course depending on the flexibility.

Why i mentioned about long term is  candidates are looking for immediate getting a lucrative job in any MNC which will not true it depends on many factors like market, Clients needs ... you need to know the concepts very well & if any opportunity comes you need to grab it, then after 2-3 years of the hard work you will get the desired results you will be looking for.

If you become SAP certified, it will increase your chances of being hired as a consultant.
