HANA SALES CERTIFICATION

Being a SAP SD consultant should i write Sales upskilling(C_TS460) or Sales(C_TS462) certification? Which one is preferred in the market and has more advantages in SD perspective?

Have you done any certification previously ? if not certified in EHP6 or EHP5 then you must go for C_TS462_1809.

Both these certifications, You will find mix of ECC + HANA but in case of Up-skilling certification exam (C_TS460_1809) the more content is from HANA only related to simplification, S/4 HANA essentials, next generation technologies, etc. which is around 35-40% and remaining is ECC but in case of C_TS462_1809 you will find more existing content but with updated HANA contents.

if you check the description of both the certification on training.sap.com then you may find that upskilling exam is more relevant for those consultants who are already certified and need to upgrade their skill for S/4 HANA.

C_TS460_1809: This certification exam is appropriate for those who are certified in any of the certification exams: "SAP Certified Application Associate - Sales and Distribution, ERP 6.0 EhP7" / "SAP Certified Application Associate - Sales and Distribution, ERP 6.0 EhP6" / "SAP Certified Application Associate - Order Fulfillment with SAP ERP 6.0 EHP5.

You only could decide which one you should go for.

I was also confused of which certification should i go for in SAP SD and i found your answer very helpful in regards to get certified.

As i am also looking to get certified and wasn't sure which certification should i go for and i guess i should go for C_TS462_1809.
