Hello,
The documentation says you can put in default values for fields per asset class. I can not find where to do this?
I want to create default values for all the hundreds of fields that exist in an asset master.
Where can I do this?
Thank you,
Hi,
Additionally it's also possible to define the depreciation parameters per asset class per depreciation area.

Dear Vincent,
You can't enter default values for all fields in an asset master but only for some fields.
In SPRO-Financial Accounting (New)-Asset Accounting-Master Data-User Fields-Enter Your User Fields in Asset Class, you can enter default values for Evaluation groups 1-5 and Asset Super number.
You can define your evaluation groups in OAVA. Evaluation groups are custom categories that you define with your own values. You can define your own fields outside standard master data fields.
Finally in order to be able to enter default values for evaluation groups, in Define Screen Layout for Asset Master Data, you have to select the ''Class'' checkbox for evaluation group fields,
