HI
I gave SAP SD associate level certification exam on 29th may 2011 and fail to pass the exam.
I have realized that just to pass the exam i need to refer only SAP books and have to follow them blindly and not to mix practical knowledge with the bookish content.
I am planning to give the certification once again but this time i have planned that i will acheve the full understanding on business and system firstly and then only will try for certification once again.
And i beleave that if i will be able to work efficiently then certification does not matter much.
In one sense this failure has given me new directions to approach in my carrer path.
Please put you inputs in this content.
Moved from Sales forum to SAP Certified Professionals forum
thanks

First of all please check the dates it must be 29th April. not MAY.
You have to revise your SD manuals 3 to 4 times and before one day of exam specially revise all questions at end of each chapter. For more information check following link. It'll surely help you out.

Hello Ravi,
I can understand you situation.
But, I would disagree with you that
i need to refer only SAP books
and have to follow them blindly
and not to mix practical knowledge
with the bookish content.
See, if you analysis the certification content & examination pattern it is based on Global Syllables
And doesn't restrict you start working anywhere on Globe.
From my personal experience, I owe a lot to that pattern for my understanding towards basic configuration, determination & best practices.
If you are already an experienced resource with more than 3 years, I don't see why can you gel up with this course and do wonders.
But, if you are fresher then understand this pattern is important before execution it. Ask yourself a question... WHY???
For instance,
Why is Plant unique relationship with company code?
Why can be more than one company code?
All the best.
Learn & Enjoy.
Thanks & Regards
JP
