Greetings all,
May I ask if any universities have established a faculty or student exchange relationship between themselves and A N Other university? We are exploring a couple of examples between the UK/Ireland and principally the US though I'm of course very open to supporting links with other countries and territories.
There are a number of international bodies such as AISEC and PIMS that enable student exchanges - I wondered if any current members have a pre-existing membership of such networks and how successful / valuable they find them as a model for exchange?

Hi
SAP UAC is an ideal platform for exploring exchange alliances. We have been looking at several options and wd be keen to forge alliances at several levels with similar universities in UK, Ireland, Scotland and other European countries as well. We can offer valuable Indian industry and cultural experience to our guests. Collaborating in curriculum development to reflect current demands of industry, incorporation of technology to ease subject delivery are some other options.
Looking forward to responses

Hi Everyone
Providing options for your students to study abroad makes your programs highly attractive and prepares your students for success in their further studies and careers.
In order that the value of their time abroad is maximized, you could help them to attend universities abroad who are also members of University Alliances. This increases significantly their chances of returning with course experiences that are compatible with your own programs and you can more easily allow them to transfer credits. This also justifies more support funding from government and NGO support agencies for study abroad and exchange programs.
You can find names of other UAP member universities in the UA Program Overview in the link provided in the box entitled "University Alliances Around the World". See https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/uac?rid=/library/uuid/c08f976d-f3ea-2b10-37b6-d81fb93c9b4b for the listing.
