I did SAP HCM 5.0 from Siemens in 2007, I heard from one of my friend that any sap certification is valid up to 3 years( Associate , professional and expert), Is it correct? or it is valid through out the life.

There is no expiry date for your certification.
However, only version will be expried over a period of time.

Hi,
No.
As long as the companies are using a particular version, that is valid. However you also can upgrade to yourself to the next version by doing delta certification. So that, you are upgraded to new version.
Still you can say that, you are certified in the lower version.
