Dear Friends,

I like to know what courses should project manager take if implementing new R/3 (eg ECC6) system where no one has experience in SAP R/3?

Lets say FI and SD modules need to be implemented. What courses should pm normally take to ready themselves for the implementation, if any?

Hi John

When you say project manager, can I assume you mean non-configuration courses and instead process-related courses to understand the transactional flow and integration aspects?

Yes, you are correct. I am not going into the customizing details at this moment. I like to understand the entire processes (at least the main ones) to be able to understand issues in the project. There are so many modules in SAP.

It covers the basic structures and business processes for all the larger SAP business solutions.
