Dear Friends,
I like to know what courses should project manager take if implementing new R/3 (eg ECC6) system where no one has experience in SAP R/3?
Lets say FI and SD modules need to be implemented. What courses should pm normally take to ready themselves for the implementation, if any?
thank you for reading.
sincerely
john.

Hi John
When you say project manager, can I assume you mean non-configuration courses and instead process-related courses to understand the transactional flow and integration aspects?

Ken

Hi John
Others may have different suggestions but I used to teach TERP10 which is a 2-week business process course. It covers the basic structures and business processes for all the larger SAP business solutions. If you don't want to deal with a 2-week class, we also offer the same content in online learning formats. Here are the links below:
TERP10 course: http://www.sap.com/usa/services/education/tabbedcourse.epx?context=%5b%5b%7cTERP10%7c%7c%7c062%7cUS%....
TERP1e online learning courses based on TERP10 class: http://www.sap.com/usa/services/education/tabbedcourse.epx?context=%5b%5b%7cTERP1E%7c%7c%7c062%7cUS%.... You can buy all the online learning courses or individual courses. In addition, here is a link to the online learning catalog: http://www.sap.com/usa/services/education/catalog/elearning/index.epx#bpc.
TERPE eAcademy course: http://www.sap.com/usa/services/education/tabbedcourse.epx?context=%5b%5b%7cTERPE%7c%7c%7c062%7cUS%7.... In addition, here is a link to the eAcademy webpage for further explanations: http://www.sap.com/usa/services/education/certtraining/eacademies/index.epx.
I hope this works as a start. Let me know what you think.
