Consultant card

Hi all

I am certified in FICO from Genovate Solutions, Mumbai. I am just wondering if there is any consultant ID card issued by SAP ? If yes how to get it ?

HI,

If you`d certified by SAP in any of the applications, you would receive a userid / pwd for access to SAP service market place. If you donot have the same, write to SAP.

I already have got that. What I am asking is if there is any consultant card issued at all ? Like company employee ID cards

Hi Pushkaraj,

The answer is NO. SAP doesnt give any consulatnt cards as such...only thing u get is a certificate post passing the certification that ur certified consultant.

which u can boast of in ur resume or can have that printed if ur company gets visiting cards printed for u...

i still doubt if u can print SAP logo on that...

The purpose of these cards is just so you can keep a record of your ID

number. They cannot be used as proof that you are certified - only the

certificate can do this. The cards are basically just free give aways

and will always be sent to the address in the system rather that to the

address you requested on your certification sheets when doing the exam.

The cards come direct from Germany and batches are sent every four

Months.

The address against your IID is as follows

and the address mentioned here was my employers address...

Hi,

I am sorry to contradict the previous answers, but SAP is in fact issueing Certification ID cards. If you pass an official SAP certification you should receive an ID card (credit card size) with your name, certification type (solution/Technical/Developer consultant), your company, your service marketplace id and the Certification area/Release printed on it.

I would not be able to tell, if SAP ships these cards world wide, but at least in germany you would get it (I have been certified in FI/CO, BW 3.0, BI 2004s and received a seperate card for each one).

I have no clue what you can do with these cards, though.
