Molly,

I know it is a little confusing at first, but let me see if I can clarify. I actually thought this might help others. When you first log into the uac and get the Welcome Center if you scroll down the center white page, on the left (still in the white) you will see a heading that says "Join Our Discussions" and then under that there are 4 possible choices. The first 2 are topic specific for Business Intelligence and Business Objects but the third choice, UA Library Reference Desk, is where you can join a public forum -- you do not have to be a member to post and reply here. The analogy is the Reference Desk in a library -- the general public can find things but someone facilitates finding the articles -- in this case whomever posts the question sort of leads the others to this topic. So anyone with an S or P account can join these discussions.

Where we want to post curriculum related questions is actually on the gray navigation bar, further over on the left, under the heading UCC Support Desk. When you click here you may get prompted for a second login to the Collaboration Workspace area. This is our private forum area where we want to post all curriculum related questions, organized by discipline area. (Retail is included with Marketing.) This is where we can discuss things about curriculum that only faculty from member schools can see and respond. All curriculum related questions should go here because some faculty do not want students to have access to the materials used in classes (also available in the private area). This is the cw (collaboration workspace) area and you will need another ID to access this area. This is normally your first name dot last name. Once you have both logins, single sign in should work and from then on you will only need to log into the sdn page (P or S number). As you know, however, we have had some problems with single sign in and sometimes it asks for the cw user name and password.

I hope this helps -- if not -- please let me know and I will develop some instructions with screen shots.

By the way, the private space is where you want to post your questions -- Heather A. is only monitoring the cw space (the UCC and ACC Help Desk).
