Certification Dilemma - J2EE or PI ?

Hi Experts,

I would like to have some guidance on choosing the appropriate SAP Certification Exam.

I am a SAP Technical Consultant with almost 2 yrs of experience with the Web Dynpro (specifically

Java), J2EE, and PI (Process Integration) and want to appear for Associate Level Certifications for

both J2EE and PI this yera at the Tech Ed.

My questions in this regard are:

1. Can I appear for more than 1 certification exams ?

2. With the above mentioned experience, will I be applicable to give certification exams for J2EE and PI?

Hi Alka,

I hope you must be attending Tech Ed through your organization. If your company is sponsoring for both the exams you can appear for these.

2. With the above mentioned experience, will I be applicable to give certification exams for J2EE and PI?

If your organization is providing the letter of authorization to SAP on behalf of you there is no problem in appearing for these exams.

When you are saying J2EE then which exam you are referring from SAP Certification list because as per the TechEd rules you should have minimum of 6 months experience on the module for which you are going to write the exams.

To appear for exam you shud have min 1yr experience in SAP. Since you hv 2 yrs it wont be a prob.

i am not sure about givin 2 certification at a time as i have never found ne person in my company who got a chance.
