I have six years of SAP-MM domain experience ( stores +purchase). Now i wish to start my career in IT company as a sap MM consultant. For that i am also prepared to go for certification, but due to huge amount ( nearly 3.65lakhs) i am fearing to go for that, also i am doubtful about getting job after certification , and what is the market value of sap mm now when so many new modules like SRM,CRM is comming .

Kindly suggest me the best way as i am very much keen to change my profile.

I have also heard obout the courses like inventory control by SAP , etc. how these courses are???

Since you have good domain experience coupled with SAP

You can go for certification.

Try to go to Malaysia or Singapore to write the exam.

Where the certification rules are limited compared to India.

Maybe you can start with the SAP help, there are plenty PDF files about what SAP can do and how it is done in SAP MM.

This way you can go for a training/ certification well prepared and get the most out of it. Another good way to start is use google for keywords like "SAP MM certification" which will not give you the tests (!!) but will give you some papers people has created when preparing for the certification. I have found many useful material this way.
