Can I go for SAP-certification after diploma?

Hello,

I am a diploma engineer in electronics & telecommunication. And have experience as a SAP-PM end user of 5years. And I want to go for a certification course in MM. Will it be helpful to boost my career. Want to get a detail overview. And what will be my job prospects?

Hi Supriya,

If you have experienced in SAP-PM, than why you want to go with SAP MM certification.

For SAP Certification the rules to get training are different according to countries.

In India SAP authorized training partner first will ask your resume, after the analysed your resume they will recommend you the certification programe.

As you are telling that you are diploma holder as well as experienced in SAP.

You can go for certification, but my suggestion is, if you are going for SAP MM certification please go through once the documents available on internet. This will be very helpful in your training.

Thanks for your reply. I am confused between MM & PM(what to pursue). As i was going through the forum, thought MM module is in demand. So made my mind to do that. But now thinking may be i should go for PM.

Hi Supriya,

MM Module is is demand  than FI or Controlling may be more demanded than MM.

Dont stuck between this, you have knowledge of PM, as per my perception you should go for PM.

Try to figure out what are master data for PM, What is organizational level & the basics of PM module.

After certification start learning for cross modules & for better than go for certification.
