Hello,
I know I can give *one* default depreciation key for an asset class but not how to limit the keys per asset class to say only 5 out of the 200 for asset class "machinery".
And the same: I can't find where to limit the depreciation keys to, for example only 5 out of the 200, for depreciation area 01.
Isn't that possible?
Thank you,

Hi,
Per asset class it's possible to customise the default depreciation parameters (incl. depreciation key) per real depreciation area. These default parameters can be changed when creating an asset master if allowed in the screen lay-out customising.
It's not possible to limit the list of possible depreciation keys per asset class in standard customising. An asset master validation could be used if you have such a requirement.

Hi,
Try Transaction OAYZ - Determine Depreciation Areas in the Asset Class. You can define here Default Dep Key, Useful Life etc.It might be useful for you.
