Hi

In order to do the certification, is it compulsory to work in the company where SAP is being used?

Or Can i do certification with training only?

Hi

It depends on the country where you want to appear for the certification exam.

In India, if you want direct certification i.e without training from SAP authorized center then you must be working in SAP Consulting firm or customer already using SAP as Consultant in your respective module. The fee is quite less and another option is to undergo training from an authorized center and give exam. However, this may not be the same case in other countries.

I recommend you to contact SAP education center of your country

Also, recommend you to go through the blogs nicely written which will make your preparation quite easy and to the right direction.

it is easy to clear certification if you are working on the system it does not matter if it is with a company or as an individual

There is no mandatory criteria for associate-level certification
