Hi,
Can anyone tell me where exactly this certificate is useful????
Because my friend has done ABAP certification but while searching job as fresher he didn't get single call from MNC.
Everyone is asking for industrial experience...so as a fresher he is facing lot of problems....Can anybody tell me solution for this serious problem???
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Sandeep,
SAP certification is not a solution for getting a job. Its just an added advantage for the person. Earlier there were less number of SAP people in the market but nowadays there are too many people available with prior experience and thats the reason companies prefer to take the exp people than the freshers.
Certification is useful when two people with around the same level of exp is going for interview then the person with certification get preference than the non-certified.
As a fresher your friend can look for support job or maintenence project where he will get the initial startup and once he get some experience then accordingly he can move ahead for the better job and at that time his certfication will add some values.

Subhasha

hiii,
see the certification is a very important paert of a career in sap-abap.
but let me tell u that all the companies want experienced abapers because the prerequisite for sap abap certification is 2 yrs work experience but now a days many centres have open ed up and are providing certificates .
as in ur friends case it would be better for him to try for smaller copmanies and once he gets an experience of 1-2 yrs he can join any of the big names of sap.the salaries offerd to him would be great then.alos ask him to enhance his knowledge base.
happy learning to to ur friend
reward if useful
