Hello,

The qualification tournament is now completed. Forty-one teams of three students from 20 universities worldwide participated in the tournament between March and May 2009. The qualification tournament event consisted of four games played over three consecutive hours. The participants had to demonstrate their ability in managing a manufacturing company with a real life ERP system (SAP ECC 6.0). The final ranking is based on the best results of the first two games and of the two last games.

This qualifying event was also a research project. The data gathered during the qualification round will be used in a research project investigating the competencies of users of ERP systems. We would like to thank the participants in this competition for their collaboration in this research project.

The results show that all participants displayed a high level of competency and confidence while using SAP during the ERPsim game. Congratulations to everyone!

Here are the final results of the qualification tournament:

1 - University of Arkansas (USA)

2- Rochester Institute of Technologies (USA)

3- University of Cincinnati (USA)

4- MGIMO 1 (Russia)

5- University of Oklahoma (USA)

6- Missouri University Of Science &Technology (USA)

7- University of Tampa (USA)

8- MGIMO 2 (USA)

The final game will be held on Saturday June 20th at 10h00 EDT (GMT-4). Participants selected for the final game will be contacted in the next few days to provide additional details on this final game.

Thank you for participating in this tournament !

Congratulations to all the competing teams.

The videos were great!

For some reason I was unable to view the 3rd video - the one showing the final results: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-bP4-ZtZ0A

I keep getting the message "this video is private" when I click on the above link. Do I need to subscribe to erpsim2 to view it? Can the video become public so that people without youtube accounts can access it?

Thank you,

Diem
