Dr Sangeeta Shah Bharadwaj, from UA member school – Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, India, visited the SAP Gurgaon office to interact with the employees and also gave a talk on the topic Knowledge Management in IT Projects. In this session, Dr. Sangeeta elucidated on how a well-informed structured approach can help in addressing the challenges of knowledge management in project environment, drawing insights from various existing models of knowledge management. She emphasized the objective of knowledge management is not to re-invent the wheel but to be able to use the existing knowledge to design more innovative products and services. She talked about how a repository of knowledge is only the first step in knowledge management and how the complete cycle has to be completed by being able to apply the knowledge to get better results from projects. The session was attended by about 32 registered participants.
