Overview
This course will give you an introduction to the functions and features of SAP S/4HANA Project System for investment and logistics projects.

It covers the whole process of planning, executing and settlings projects. Whereas the investment project focuses on cost planning and budgeting and the integration to asset accounting, the logistics project covers the creation of project structures from sales documents as well as capacity planning and procurement processes.

  • Understand the solutions in SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management
  • Create an investment project from a project template
  • Understand the usage of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
  • Carry out Easy Cost Planning and Budgeting
  • Record working activities to the project

  • Create a logistics project from a sales order using assembly processing
  • Understand the usage of networks and activities
  • Carry out capacity planning and work confirmation
  • Plan and procure material components for the project
  • Carry out results analysis and settle project to profitability analysis

Prerequisites

First experience with SAP S/4HANA is recommended.
