On 1 April 2014, the Enterprise Systems Education For Africa, (ESEFA), SAP UA’s flagship project in Africa, took a further step towards intensifying its ties with potential partner universities. During a project presentation at the premises of the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) the ESEFA team around Dr. Lisa Seymour (University of Cape Town - UCT), Gwamaka Mwalemba (UCT) and Patrick Wirz (Otto von Guericke University – OvGU) addressed 25 participants, among them Dr. Wineaster Anderson, Dean of the University of Dar es Salaam Business School (UDBS) and Dr. Tumsifu Elly, lecturer at the University of Dar es Salaam.
While ESEFA introduced central aspects, ranging from project set-up to implementation, the University of Dar es Salaam expressed a great interest in cooperation with ESEFA as a future partner university. Major emphasis was put on the presentation of the curriculum, which was intensively discussed in a subsequent formal conversation. This event was topped off with a business dinner providing participants the opportunity to engage in a lively exchange of ideas.
