What is SAP Student Entrepreneurship Program
The SAP Student Entrepreneurship program is an extension to the existing SAP University Alliances program which has a network of 1600 universities globally. The students who will participate in the program will come from Germany and all over the world. The SAP University Alliances Student Entrepreneurship program provides a dedicated platform for university
entrepreneurship centers, startup incubators, and entrepreneurship chairs to integrate elements or the entire program into their existing programs to support young entrepreneurs.
The 2014 targets for the SAP Student Entrepreneurship program are:
• 100 universities globally joining the program
• 10,000 students involved
• 100 student startups

The Human Face of Big Data is a multi-platform media project that explores the world of Big Data. The project’s intention is to start a global conversation about an information revolution that tracks our existence in ways never before possible. About EARTHWATCH PROJECT
Data Integration and Visualization in a Changing World Project which seeks to improve our understanding nature’s response to global change by providing the following outcomes:
- Identifying relevant and accessible existing independent data-sets (e.g. NOAA weather data, and ocean temps, USGIS soil and geology data, E-Bird species presence, etc.)
- Developing a mechanism to in-stream these datasets into a larger regional or global datasets, then analyzing them according to specific temporal data points
- Developing mechanism to in-stream citizen scientist/Earthwatch project data-sets into these larger data-sets, developing a platform for broader, deeper analysis
- Developing visual representations of the temporal changes in species, eco-systems, etc.
- Providing a base-line of existing data-sets from which to examine future changes
- Improving sharing and visualization of these combined datasets so that managers and the general public can more intuitively and rapidly grasp how nature is changing and thus how to better manage resources in the face of this change
- Providing Earthwatch with a model of citizen science that allows for more accessible, localized, spontaneous and interaction
- The opportunity to scale the project, nationally through other National Park Service locations, and globally through Earthwatch’s network of PIs
