In this video, SAP Mentor stephen.lofthouse shares his views about the SAP Student Academy initiative from SAP Education and SAP University Alliances. Steve is Senior Lecturer in Business Computing & SAP, SAP Program Manager, and Course Leader MSc Big Data Analytics at Sheffield Hallam University, which was one of the first universities to sign up for the SAP Student Academy program.
Steve has had a very positive experience with the program, and is now building the curricula into his degree provisions. “The benefits have been fantastic”, he enthused. “From the student’s point of view, they’re getting end-to-end certification and training. It comes in an e-learning format, which gives them access to the system for much longer, they can study when they want to, and the materials are of an incredibly high quality so the pass rates are far higher.” He continued: “From a corporate position, when students find out that these e-academies are built into their courses, they start flocking to my university in droves.”
