Take your SAP Certification Exams in the Cloud

SAP is committed to the Cloud and you can now take SAP Certification exams there too!!

In the course of 2016, SAP Certification exams for cloud solutions such as SuccessFactors, C4C (Cloud for Customer), Ariba and SAP Hybris are provided in the Cloud to take at your convenience and location, 7 days a week/24 hours a day via the Certification Hub.

A subscription to the Certification Hub provides you with 6 exam bookings in a 12-month subscription period. You can take 6 different exams or take one exam up to 3 times. Each retake of an exam counts as one of the 6 exam attempts available with the subscription.

The amount of exams available in the Certification Hub subscription are rapidly increasing. Check the SAP Training and Certification Shop for the most current list of cloud-based exams.

SAP offers two types of certifications in the Certification Hub: Associate Certification and Professional Certification. The Associate Certification covers the fundamental knowledge requirements for an SAP consultant to configure and implement SAP solutions based on the content covered in the Academy training. For some parts of the portfolio (for example, SuccessFactors), Delta exams are part of the Associate Certification and ensure that a consultant is up to date on the most current release of the Cloud solution. For certain Associate exams, SAP offers the option to certify as a Specialist. This certification is in addition to an Associate certification and focuses on a specific role or integration component. Professional Certification is the highest level of Certification and requires technical and practical expertise.

How Do I Take a Certification Exam in the Cloud?

 

SAP Certification exams delivered in the Cloud are available 7 days/week, 24 hours/day so you can take an exam at your convenience, anywhere in the world. An online proctor will monitor you as you take the exam so you will need:

 

• Internet connection


• Laptop or desktop computer with a camera


• Private room in which to take the exam


• Government-issued ID to validate yourself to the online proctor

Maintaining Your Certification - Delta Exams

 

For some parts of the portfolio (for example, SuccessFactors), SAP offers Delta exams to ensure that SAP Cloud certified consultants are up-to-date with their skills and knowledge. You are eligible to take a Delta exam when you pass the pre-requisite Associate exam for a specific solution. Once you pass the Associate exam, you maintain your certified status by taking the Delta exam within 6 months of the exams' availability.

 

Upon passing an SAP certification exam, you will receive an email from SAP Credential Manager to opt-in to the Credential Manager system. Accept the invitation to opt-in to Credential Manager so you will be notified when a corresponding Delta exam is available.

 

Getting Started with Certification Hub

 

The first step to getting started is to book CER006 - Certification Hub in the Training and Certification Shop.

 

1. Login to the SAP Training and Certification Shop. Enter CER006 in the search field. Double click on the CER006 - SAP Certification in the Cloud item. Click the "Go to Certification Hub" button.

 



 




 

 

2. Select your time zone - this is very important so you can schedule an exam in your own time zone.

 




 

3. Read the Terms and Conditions of Use and check the "Accept" box. Click Save.

 

 




 

 

4. You will now see the "Welcome to the Certification Hub" page. Click the "Conduct System Test" button.

 




5. If this is the first time you are scheduling a Certification in the Cloud exam, you must download and install Questionmark Secure on your system. Click this URL to download:

 


6. Once you have downloaded and installed Questionmark Secure and conducted the system test, you can schedule your certification exams. At the top of the Certification Hub window, click on the "Exam Dashboard".

 

 



 

7. A list of available exams will be displayed. Click the calendar icon to schedule an exam.

 



 

8. You will see a display like this to schedule your exam.

 




 

 

Your system is now ready to take your Certification in the Cloud exam. Before your assigned exam time, be sure that you have conducted the System Test successfully, have a reliable internet connection, have a laptop or desktop computer with a camera configured with Questionmark Secure, a private room scheduled to take the exam and your government-issued ID.

Once you have located the Certification exam that you want to take and have your system configured to take an exam in the Certification in the Cloud, you should follow these steps to prepare for an SAP Certification exam:

Consider taking related training

I am planning to subscribe to the Certification Hub to take the SAP S4 Hana C_ACT_2016. My question is it mandatory  to subscribe for Learning hub too for the course since i have confidence to clear the exam without course and also if  I can make a booking of up to 6 exams during the subscription period and if i pass in the first attempt so what will be the status of remaining 5 attempts. I will be grateful if you reply and clear my doubt.

"Yes, that is correct.  The Certification Hub subscription gives you 6 attempts at certification exams.  If you passed the exam on the first attempt then you have 5 more attempts available."

The C_SSF_1503 code refers to the SAP Simple Finance On Premise Edition 1503 certification exam. In order to take this exam, you will need to have a subscription to the Certification Hub, which is CER006 on the Training and Certification web shop.  Refer to the directions in the above blog for information on how to use the Certification Hub and to take your exam in the certification in the cloud.  The Learning Hub will provide the training for SAP SIMPLE FINANCE for HANA but you will also need a subscription to Certification Hub to take the associated certification exam.

SAP strongly recommends that you attend all courses that are listed as pre-requisites for a certification exam before you take the certification exam to increase your ability to pass the exam.  However, there is nothing that prevents you from taking a certification exam if you have not attended the pre-requisite courses.

If you take and pass one of the certification exams available in the Certification Hub, then you have 5 more attempts to take addtional exams.  You can take any of the other exams available in the Certification Hub.

I'm looking for certification in Simple Finance (C_SSF_1503). I'm looking to do it from Certification Hub (CER006). Can you please let me know the list of training I need to attend, to be eligible and prepare for the certification.

I've a company sponsored Learning Hub access. I assume that will be fine to complete the training and eligible for the certification exam. In one of the comment above, I found there is some restriction.

Hello Sid,

SAP strongly encourages you to attend all courses that are listed as recommended pre-requisites before you attempt to take the C_SSF_1503 exam. The recommended courses are listed for each topic in the exam description on the SAP Training and Certification web shop at:  www.training.sap.com.

You can take all of these course from Learning Hub.  Once you take these courses, you will be prepared to take the certification exam, however, there is no restriction. If you feel that you can take the certification exam without attending these courses, there is nothing in the system that will prevent you from attempting the exam. However, to ensure your success, we strongly recommend that you take all courses associated with the exam. The exam is based on these courses, so it is in your best interest to take the courses.

The exams taken through the Certification Hub (CER006) are the same as an exam that you would take in an SAP or Pearson Vue testing center. The content of the exams are the same, the only difference is the delivery method.  The exams that you take in the Certification Hub are taken remotely, with a remote proctor and security mechanisms in place.  The exams that you take in the testing centers are proctored on-site.

However, the exams available in the Certification Hub are NOT available in the testing centers.  If you want to take an exam that is part of Certification Hub, you are required to take it remotely with a remote proctor, as explained in the blog above.

When you register for an exam, you are required to identify your Certification Hub ID so the exam attempts can be tracked for your subscription. If you were taking a course in Learning Hub, then your Learning Hub ID is required to validate your access to Learning Hub.

Yes, you will need to subscribe to Learning Hub to access the training and learning content. You will need a subscription to Certification Hub in order to take the certification exams. Once you are certified, specifically on a SuccessFactors module, you will take Delta Assessment exams in Learning Hub to keep your certification status current. This is the Stay Current model being rolled out on September 1st for all SuccessFactors modules.

Hello all,

You will  need a subscription to Certification Hub in order to take the Associate Certification exam available from SAP Certification.  This is the core exam, and the starting point for your certification journey.

For SuccessFactors solutions,once you pass this core certification exam, you will Stay Current with your certification by subscribing to Learning Hub (Professional Edition) to access the Delta training material and to take the Delta Assessment exams only available in Learning Hub. You will be notified when the delta training material is available for each quarterly release of the software and you will take the Delta Assessment exam in the Learning Hub.  You will have 90 days in which to complete and pass the Delta Assessment exam in Learning Hub. There will no longer be any Delta Certification exams in Certification Hub.

The purpose of the Stay Current model is to make it easier for you to stay up to date with the changes in the quarterly software updates and to keep your certified status up to date.

I am planning to take the SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP S/4HANA 1511(C_S4IMP_1511) exam from SAP certification on cloud. My doubt is

1. If I took the certification hub subscription it will also include the certification fee? or do I need to pay the amount separately for the certification exam. If it is included then I can attempt 6 individual exams or if it is not included then I need to pay the exam fee for each attempt?.

2. For attempting the SAP S/4HANA 1511(C_S4IMP_1511) exam what are the prerequisites required?

3. Is there any difference between the cloud certification and exam center?

4. Do I need the Learning hub access? If yes, I have access to discovery edition, is it  fine or else do I need to purchase other alternate learning hub access.

Answers to your questions:

1. The Certification Hub fee includes 6 attempts to take SAP Certification exams that are available in the Certification Hub. Currently, there is one S/4HANA exam but there will be more in the future.

2. SAP recommends that you attend all courses associated with a specific certification exam. You can reference these courses at: sap.com/training. The course associated with the C_S4IMP_1511 exam is S4100.

3. There is no difference between the exams offered in the Certification Hub and those exams offered in an SAP testing center or Pearson Vue testing center. The only difference is the mechanism in which the exams are delivered.

4. You will need the access to SAP Learning Hub, professional edition to take future delta exams and to review Delta training and information. The discovery edition does not have this type of information or access.

This exam is offered as an exam in the Certification in the Cloud.   You do not take this exam in the Learning Hub Professional Edition. You can take the course that is the recommended pre-requisite for the exam in the Learning Hub Professional Edition and SAP recommends that you take the pre-requisite courses before you attempt to take the certification exam.

You do not need access to SAP Learning Hub Professional Edition to take the certification exams.  You need a subscription to Certification Hub to take the certification exams that are offered in the Cloud.  However, SAP recommends that you take the training courses associated with a certification exam to increase your chances of passing that exam.  Not all SAP Certification exams are available in the Certification Hub. 
To determine if an exam is available in the Certification Hub, enter the certification code in the SAP training and certification shop:  www.training.sap.com.  If the exam description lists the Certification Hub, then you will need to purchase a subscription to the Certification Hub to take that exam. However, if the SAP testing centers or Pearson Vue is listed for the exam, that exam is NOT available in the Certification Hub.

No, taking and passing the C_BOW_41 certification exam does not give you access to SAP Market Place or the ability to download patches or upgrades.

Please note too that you are required to take the C_BOWI_41 exam at an SAP Training/Testing Center or at a Pearson Vue testing center.  Go to www.training.sap.com to purchase the exam attempt and select the location where you want to take the exam.

Are you located in India? If so, SAP Education India requires that you have a subscription to SAP Learning Hub professional edition and SAP Certiifcation Hub in order to take the courses for these exams.  Once you have both subscriptions, then you can enter your SAP Learning Hub certificate (or ID) in order to register for the C_C4C30_2015 and the C_C4C10_2015 exams.

I wanted to get quote from one of the SAP Education Partners in Malaysia for Certification Hub Subscription and they said its compulsory to have Learning Hub subscription for this (after presumably confirming from SAP Malaysia). I can obviously go for online buying option but I am afraid the requirement of Learning Hub Subscription may pitch in later on and I'll end up paying extra for learning hub subscription too.

I recommend that you contact your local SAP Education representative in India for answers to these questions. Go to www.training.sap.com and first confirm that you have India set as your country.  Then, scroll to the bottom of the page and you will find the contact information for SAP Education India.  These requirements are specific to India.

Payroll is not a topic covered in the C_THR81_1602 certification exam. You can review the topics of all certification exams in the SAP training and certification shop.  Serach for C_THR82_1602 and scroll down that page for a list of topics, the weights for each topic and a brief description of what you will be tested on for each topic.

All exam information can be found at: https://training.sap.com. Enter the exam code, C_C4C10_2015 in the search and you will see the details for this exam, which includes the topics to be covered, the weight of each topic, and sample questions for the exam (at the top of the page).  All SAP certification exams are multiple choice/multiple response type questions, no essay questions. The multiple response questions indicate how many correct answers there are for the question. If you open the sample question PDF document from the exam page on the training shop, you will see an example of multiple choice and multiple response questions.

You pay for SAP CERTIFICATION IN CLOUD CER006 and that's it..This subscription itself is required to book any exam slot. 6 Exams / Year limit though... No separate payment is required for any exam that is available in that cloud subscription.  I mean, you can not pay individually for the exam.

But when you pay for this subscription, it takes at least 2 business days to get it processed and give you authorization. Then only you can book the slot for an exam.

Dear Marcela,

You will not receive feedback on your responses to individual questions - you are not given information as to how you did on each question. However, once you complete the entire exam and click the submit button, you will receive your score immediately. This score will be broken down by topic, with each topic indicating how many questions you answered correctly for each topic.  For example, if the final outcome window of exam states that you scored 10% on "topic one" then that means that you answered 10% of the questions for that topic correctly.  You will also receive your overall score and a note that you either passed the exam or did not pass the exam. The cut score - or the score you have to achieve to pass the exam - is listed on the training shop for every exam. 

I'm not sure what you mean about discount of correct answers. If you are referring to discount of price of the exam for correct answers, then No, there are no discounts of pricing based on your pass or fail or the exam.

We do not sell certification documents but you can take the Ariba P2P courses to prepare and study for the certification exam.  You can sign up to take one of the Ariba courses from the training and certification shop at: www.training.sap.com

You can also review which courses to take for a certification exam and the topics, topic weights and sample questions for the exam on the training and certification shop. The code for the Ariba P2P exam is: C_AR_P2P_13.
