On 19th January 2015, 44 students and 3 professors from G.H.Raisoni College of Engineering Nagpur visited SAP Labs India Bangalore office. The second and third year students of Master of Computer Applications course were eager to know as much about SAP as they could and posed a lot of questions to gather information.
The students were shown around the beautiful campus of SAP Labs India Bangalore office while learning about SAP's formation and history.
The group assembled at the basketball court where they listened to the SAP Corporate story. The story mainly covered the 5 focus markets for SAP - Applications, Analytics, Database, Cloud and Mobility. This was followed by a Question and Answer session where the students showed a great interest in learning about all aspects of SAP from products, technologies, innovations, work culture, recruitment policies, academic collaboration etc. Following this the students were introduced to the App Rumble India 2015 competition which elicited a good response from the students as they appeared visibly excited about it.
The tour continued with the students being taken around the remaining blocks of the campus. Taking a stroll in a lush green campus while being educated about SAP it turned out to be a novel and fresh experience for the students as well as for the SAP University Alliances team.
