UA France has been invited to participate to Smart Industry trade show. This event took place in Paris during 3 days in Paris and was organized in collaboration with our partner FESTO. Therefore, a FESTO line took place on our booth which was very spectacular for our visitors.
We could show the direct link between the production and the software (ERP) as well as the predictive part on the maintenance.
A very nice opportunity to show industry 4.0 innovations, Internet of things, to optimize the production. Our visiting customers as well as teachers and students were very impressed and very interested in our knowhow in these domains.
We had the opportunity to receive several schools on our booth and detail UA program.
Together with the exhibition, UA team has participated to the competition that was organized for students. 70 students coming from 4 Universities worked in teams on a business case to modernize a cheese factory.
Objective of the challenge was to build a complete end to end production system including all the production machines as well the software part. Thanks to a questionnaire to guide their work, the students visited different booth to build the best solution.
At the end of the competition, each team presented to the jury their best proposal to answer the duty catalogue.
A small ceremony was organized and the 3 winning teams won internship, trainings from different suppliers attending the trade show. SAP will receive 3 winninig teams (around 24 students) for a visit of our Executive Briefing Center and a conference about innovation at SAP tower.
