20 years is a long time in the dynamic IT industry. As a part of Partner Innovation Lifecycle Services (PILS)*, it has been certifying outsourcing providers for over 20 years. With a certification validity of 2 years, some partners have already gone through the rigorous assessment 10 times. The Outsourcing Partner Certification team is very proud of this long-lasting relationship with several partners.
In 2000 the first certification was for Hosting Services, since then the portfolio has evolved and now comprises 8 certifications* covering platform and application management services. This specialization of the certifications guarantees the customer to find a best-in-class outsourcing provider most suited to their business requirements.

On October 26, 2021, the first golden certificate of appreciation was handed over to BTC Business Technology Consulting AG during a ceremony in Walldorf. BTC obtained its first certification for their operations capabilities back in 2002 and have this year successfully passed their 10th certification for the following operations capabilities:
- hosting operations
- SAP HANA® operations
- cloud and infrastructure operations
- SAP Business Suite solutions operations
- SAP S/4HANA® solutions operations
