New SAP Learning Hub Onboarding Course and Learning Cards
Get familiar with a new course designed to help you learn basic functions and navigation of SAP Learning Hub, and check out the debut our new learning cards e-learning pilot format. To try them, click on the invitation on the Welcome tile of the SAP Learning Hub home page, or enter the Welcome room and read the featured blog (scroll down on the overview page). Whether you are a new or an experienced user, we value your feedback to assist us in continued development of both the learning cards format and the onboarding course.
SAP Ariba Spot Buy Course: Available in Learning Cards E-learning Pilot
The digital age is changing ways to learn. Knowledge tends to have a shorter shelf life than it had in the past, while its value has rapidly increased. Time available for learning also has shortened due to many demands of living in the modern age. The trend towards more micro, mobile, networked, and engaging learning is undeniable.
To respond to this trend, we are pleased to launch the learning cards approach as a new pilot to e-learning. Benefits include the following:
- Content focuses on small topics relevant for your current task. The average duration of a card lasts only five minutes.
- You can access knowledge on demand, anywhere, and from any device.
- You can individualize the learning experience to fit your schedule and preferred learning style.
In addition to the new onboarding course on SAP Learning Hub, we have also developed an introductory course on the SAP Ariba Spot Buy solution in the new learning cards e-learning pilot format. Search for course “AR511” to use the learning card’s micro-learning method to learn how to implement SAP Ariba Spot Buy, order goods using this solution, and more.
Another pilot course in the new format for SAP Activate, the innovation adoption framework to help customers start fast, build smart, and run simple, will be available beginning of October.
Skills for Africa Learns with SAP Learning Hub
We are glad to announce the remarkable success of the SAP Skills for Africa program, a skills development and job creation initiative aimed at developing information and communications technology skills across Africa. This program developed with SAP Learning Hub has fostered the following success so far:
- 100% students passed certification exams.
- 247 students became certified to date in Kenya, Morocco, and South Africa.
- Better quality of life for families of students: Every student’s career start-up helps advance the quality of life for four or five family members.
So far, more than 1,200 Africans’ lives have improved through student skill development with SAP Learning Hub.
