What Have I Missed?
During June we ran two webinars as part of our fourth and fifth themed campaigns.
Deploy the Right Business Processes in the Right Way. Building on our earlier blog, our Learning Architects presented a webinar to discuss in more detail specific examples of how organisations can ensure consistency between the processes that are implemented, tested, trained and actually executed. On the 7th of May we launched our fourth theme with a blog post here in SCN. The focus of our fourth theme is managing the rollout of business processes in an organisation. This might sound straight forward: the reality is that in many cases users implement unofficial workarounds, and that users do not perform business processes in a consistent way. Is it OK that the processes you rolled out are not the same as the processes your users execute? How can you ensure consistency between what is implemented, tested, rolled out and then actually performed by your users?

Finally, we started our fifth key theme late in May, with a blog post on the topic of Centre of Expertise. For many organisations, a key part of business as usual operations is the establishment of a Centre of Expertise. What processes are involved? What roles need to be filled? What skills are required by the staff within the CoE? How can I ensure organisational readiness? Join the discussion with our blog.
On 16 April we ran a webinar on SAP Education's end user adoption services. SAP Education provides core end to end consultancy services for the design, build and deployment of best in class user adoption services. During March we launched the first of the key themes in our programme "SAP Education Helps":
1. Reduce Support Costs
For the first of our key themes of the year, we introduced the link between support costs and user ability, starting with a blog posted here in SCN. We also discussed how, with minimal effort, substantial improvements can be made to organisational performance, in turn reducing support costs. Following the blog, we ran an interactive webinar where one of our Learning Architects discussed how to identify and address skills gaps in your organisation, with the aim of improving the organisational support culture. 2. Replicate User Best Practice
On 6 March we launched our second key theme with a blog posting on how to identify and replicate best practice throughout your user communities. Following the blog, one of our Learning Architects host an interactive exploring the topic in more detail. We also ran a session on 28 March to look at the new On Demand Scheduling service being offered by SAP Education.
