SAP University Alliances Professors who joined this global press event onsite expressed their excitement about the upcoming changes:
NEW YORK CITY
"SAP Business Suite on SAP HANA creates opportunities to innovate business education, including in logistics where students can now be shown how SAP HANA enables organizations to run their supply plans multiple times on demand, explore "what-if" scenarios, and optimize their supply plans. And as University Alliances enhances the Global Bike, Inc. teaching case with "big data," students will gain further value in exploring analytic scenarios in logistics and beyond. VSU looks forward to contributing to the SAP HANA @ UA initiative!"
Ray Boykin, Virginia State University
“I am impressed with SAP's speed in enabling business processes on HANA. As Vishal Sikka said, one of the key areas that will drive value for organizations is re-thinking their business processes now that HANA enables real-time insight into organizations' "big data." I look forward to supporting University Alliances' efforts to evolve the Business Process Management curriculum to take advantage of SAP HANA!"
Yvonne Antonucci, Widener University
“I congratulate SAP in following up in-memory analytics on HANA with the SAP Business Suite on HANA. This creates new opportunities to enhance education of business processes and analytics, including the power of predictive analytics to improve process execution. I look forward to contributing to the University Alliances' HANA curriculum!"
Bob Szymanski, Georgia Southern University
SAP Business Suite on SAP HANA creates new opportunities to educate students in dynamic thinking. Students expect data to be real time, and SAP HANA will enable enhanced real-life experiences in the classroom. I look forward to contributing to creating academic content for the "Use Cases" at SAPHANA.com...these will be a truly valuable classroom resource. And it's exciting to hear about broad use of "design thinking" across SAP and now with SAP customers!"
