The SAP Academic Conference EMEA (formerly UA User Group Meeting) is the annual conference for member faculty from all over Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The event brings together leading educators and experts to discuss new topics on teaching and research with SAP software in universities and higher educational institutions. It therefore provides a tremendous opportunity to exchange ideas and share experiences with colleagues and partners in a wide range of discussion panels and to form valuable networking contacts for future curricula and research development.

During the conference day at the Technische Universitaet Muenchen (TUM), Faculty for Informatics on September 12, keynotes and presentations will address new and existing projects and product innovations. The first day ends with a special joint dinner, to introduce both new and existing members. During this evening reception the SAP University Competence Center (UCC) located at the Technische Universitaet Muenchen - Chair for Information Systems (Prof. Dr. Helmut Krcmar) will celebrate its 10th anniversary.

On the second day of the SAP Academic Conference EMEA on September 13, SAP University Alliances in cooperation with the SAP University Competence Centers will offer break-out sessions to introduce the latest and innovative topics within the SAP UA program. One of this year’s focus topics is the SAP HANA offering for SAP University Alliances members. The first SAP HANA curriculum for use in UA classrooms is being developed within our global SAP HANA @ UA initiative. The course covers more than one SAP solution from the end-to-end scenario to the data source, via data replication into the SAP HANA database, through modeling and the graphical representation of the data in analytics dashboards. SAP and the UCCs are looking forward to offer you the latest news about the HANA curriculum during the Academic Conference in Munich. In addition to the conference, several trainings from the University Alliances training season, starting from Monday on, will be offered.
