According to the HC Growth plans of SAP Hungary, the first quarter was all about university and recruiting activities: during the quarter, we attended BME (Budapest University of Technology and Economics) Job Fair, HVG (Hungarian weekly business newspaper) Job Fair, the Job Fair of Miskolc University, and held a company introduction session at the Informatics Day of Debrecen University.

The goal of our participation in university and external job fairs is to meet the students and fresh graduates in person, to get to know each other better, to represent us on the tough labour market and the continuous employer branding. Colleagues can actually give an insight how it is to work with with SAP, answer questions, and give further information about vacant positions.

The Job Fair at Budapest University of Technology and Economics is SAP’s most important partner when it comes to recruitement:

almost 40% of trainees working at SAP Hungary study at BME. HVG Job Fair is rather popular among fresh graduates and young professionals, while University of Miskolc is organizing the most prominent non-Budapest job fair in Hungary.

At Debrecen University, we held a 1-hour session featuring Diána Nagy, who talked about the company, Ádám Dudits, who gave an insight into the University Alliances Program of SAP, and Ádám Engelhardt, who presented his carreer at the company.

The next big university related event will be the Open Carreer Day at SAP on May 10, 2014. The main goal of the day is to provide an insight to the visiting students and fresh graduates, to demonstrate our excellent (local) SAP community, the 5* working environment and bring them closer the technology – stay tuned for the next university related programs!
