What is the "Industry 4.0"? How does it work? And how does IT enable it? At July 3rd, 2019, the Hubert-Sternberg School and the Johann-Philipp-Bronner School in Wiesloch (Germany, Baden-Württemberg) invited various guests from politics, economy and education to celebrate the successful Go Live of their Learning Factory 4.0 with an integrated SAP solution. The guests got direct insights into a "real" smart factory and experienced how the digital cooperation of schools, economy, and politics can be realized. The guests could join a „live“ school lesson with students from both, the mercantile and the industrial, school sectors, and got the opportunity to follow the complete business process end to end from order to production to delivery.
The implementation of the Learning Factory 4.0 in Wiesloch is supported by Festo, SAP Young Thinkers, SAP University Competence Center and the Zentrum für Schulqualität und Lehrerbildung.
