On November 1st, the Nizhny Novgorod campus of National Research University 'Higher School of Economics' hosted an official ceremony, launching the SAP Regional Competence Center in Nizhny Novgorod together with SAP service-partner, Vostok-NN company. The Centre will be focused on the needs of midsize and small businesses and will be responsible for SAP BusinessOne expertise in Upper-Volga region of Russia. Through SAP University Alliances, educational programs and project activities for students and professors will be implemented.
An important part of the opening ceremony was signing a three-party memoranda between SAP CIS, Nizhny Novgorod branch of HSE and the "Vostok-NN" company. According to the memoranda, the parties have agreed to work together on the established center. This cooperation provides the implementation of educational programs, through the use of the SAP University Alliances program, implementation of scientific and applied research, consulting services, workshops and open lectures for students, researchers and faculty members of HSE.
