Universidad del Pacífico from Lima, Peru has joined SAP University Alliances as Associate Member.
The Universidad del Pacífico (UP) was created in 1962 by a group of Peruvian entrepreneurs with the purpose to encourage high level education in benefit of the country. Specializes in Business Management and Economics and is regarded as one of the best Peruvian universities in these fields. It has been ranked as one of the most esteemed universities in fields of economics, law, finance, accounting, and business administration in Peru and among the leading institutions of its kind in the Latin American region.
According to "Best Masters Ranking Worldwide 2014-2015", UP post-graduate schools is ranked among the top ones in Latinamerica (Masters in Finance, Masters in Audit, Masters in Organizational Development) these and other schools are ranked leaders also at national, regional and worldwide level.
With this alliance SAP UA & UP seek to develop young entrepreneurs with knowledge of the latest technology innovations in the business world. We have already started working close together with the Engineering Faculty and already run 2 joint events:
- Design Thinking Workshop as part of the opening ceremony of UP's new Innovation Lab
We look forward to continue the work together with UP and develop young professionals to prepare them for the future of work.
