Learning objectives
After completing this learning journey, the database administrators will have learned
- how to set-up database instances
- use the self-service migration for SAP HANA Cloud to migrate an SAP HANA Service for SAP BTP in Cloud Foundry or Neo environment or SAP HANA on-premises databases to SAP HANA Cloud.
Prerequisites
- Access to, and administrative rights on, an SAP HANA Service for BTP in Cloud Foundry or Neo environment or an on-premises SAP HANA database that you wish to migrate to SAP HANA Cloud
- Access to an SAP HANA Cloud instance that you will migrate your current database to through SAP BTP cockpit
- Assign Subaccount Viewer (or Subaccount Administrator) and SAP HANA Cloud Viewer (or SAP HANA Cloud Administrator) to your SAP BTP technical user
