ABAP is still one of the most popular areas for SAP certification – and for good reason!ABAP plays such an important part in most SAP implementations, and will continue to do so in the future. There are of course many ways to work towards certification, but the area of ABAP is also going through some exciting developments right now, and it makes sense that learners want to keep up with these changes as well as understanding the traditional side of ABAP. SAP Education has introduced SAP Learning Hub to provide a solution to both of these needs. In case you haven’t already heard the buzz around SAP Learning Hub, let me tell you a little more about it.
SAP Learning Hub is a subscription-based educational resource that provides access to the entire library of SAP Education’s online training resources, whenever and wherever you need them. It provides you with access to the most up-to-date training content so that you can always keep up with the latest technological changes in SAP solutions.
In the video linked to this blog, you’ll hear me talk about some of the advantages of becoming an SAP-Certified Development Associate in ABAP with SAP NetWeaver and how you can achieve this through the use of SAP Learning Hub. But even after you have taken your certification exam, or indeed if certification isn’t your goal, SAP Learning Hub can also be used for day-to-day knowledge retrieval – it really is the answer to all of your learning needs!
Part of SAP Learning Hub are the fantastic Learning Rooms, which offer a collaborative learning environment for particular topic areas. I am extremely excited to be an instructor moderator in the “ABAP Development” Learning Room, where you will be able to join other learners to prepare for your certification. I really hope to collaborate with as many of you as possible in the room, and help you towards the incredibly valuable goal of certification, or just to provide you with some hints and tips about the world of ABAP.
In the video I also touch on SAP Live Access, which lets SAP Learning Hub subscribers purchase time on an SAP training system in order to practice in a live environment. When it comes to learning ABAP, nothing beats getting your hands dirty and writing some code! If you’re not yet subscribed to SAP Learning Hub, you can learn in the video how to get a preview of the offering and gain access to select learning assets via SAP Learning Hub, discovery edition.
I hope I’ve managed to give you an insight into how powerful SAP Learning Hub can be – and good luck with learning!
