Successful Design Thinking Event for Young Thinkers at Universidad de Lima
UA Latin America is excited to share with you the accomplishment of our first Design Thinking event for Young Thinkers!
The event took place on February 3rd at Universidad de Lima (UL) in Lima (Peru) as part of UL’s Teen Tech Event. Teen Tech is a Young Thinkers event, where the university invited high school students from the last 2 years of studies, to visit the university and to get to know the Systems Engineering career.
We had around 25 participants (plus some parents and UL faculty) in a ~2hr Design Thinking session, where the 14/15 year old kids built a prototype of a new social media game.
The kids where very engaged in the workshop, they were involved to the tasks requested by the DT Facilitator, Ursula Botto, Senior Solution Specialist from SAP Peru. We were also supported by María Fernanda Gárate (Pre-sales Resource Manager). Ursula and María Fernanda were able to capture the kids’ attention from minute one!
The common feedback from the kids about the workshop was “chévere!” (great!, fantastic!)
Universidad de Lima was the first University in Peru to be part of the SAP University Alliances. This year we are happy to celebrate 10 years of successful partnership.
