This year the University Castilla la Mancha organized the 18th Conference of Informatics University Studies in Spain, JENUI. It was held from 10th to 13th of July at the University Castilla la Mancha's School of Computer Science, in Ciudad Real.


This conference promotes networking, exchange and discussion of knowledge and experience between academics and Informatics research groups. They also discussed the Spanish educational program content and teaching methods to present issues and innovative approaches to improve the teaching of informatics at the universities.

About 100 informatics professors from universities as University Politecnica de Valencia, Universidad de Sevilla, Universidad de Malaga, University Politecnica de Catalunya, etc. were in the conference and the UAP was presented in a slot of the academic program.
