"Innovations for Education: Thinking in Real-Time- Designing the Future" is the overall theme at the SAP University Alliances INFODAY in Moscow, Russia organized as part of the global SAP partnership program with universities and research. Prior to the main conference day, students for the first time in Russia, had the chance to participate in a Design Thinking course and application development –CodeJam - in the SAP building in Moscow. The students will showcase their results on stage on 13 December.
The UA info day with 100 attendees which included faculty members of local SAP UAP current and potential members, SAP customers and partner-ecosystem, provides a unique opportunity for attendees to show their most recent work and results, get to know best practices of current UAP members, and learn about the educational projects implemented by partners, customers, and SAP to train future professionals and to support education of SAP solutions in universities.
Ann Rosenberg, global head of SAP University Alliances, will kick off the conference highlighting the new UA strategy, initiatives and goals. Innovative and entrepreneurial initiatives of the universities and students will be shared.
The SAP tracks will focus on:
- SAP Sybase – products which represent the new initiative of UA since 2012.
- SAP BusinessOne – ERP-systems for the small and medium-sized businesses.
- SAP HANA One – an innovative SAP product (In–Memory platform) which allows users to transform business by streamlining applications, analytics, planning, predictive analysis, and sentiment analysis on a single platform so business can operate in real-time.
- SAP for Banking – a solution which is localized for the Russian market to manage core and supporting business-processes of the financial and credit institutions.
