The 21st European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS) took place from June 6 - 7 at Utrecht University in the Netherlands with overall 546 participants (amongst them professors, assistant and associate professors, students and representatives from IT companies).
ECIS 2013 offered professors around the world a wide range of expert sessions with different kinds of topics regarding Information Systems and knowledge sharing. This included amongst other topics Accounting Information Systems and ERP, Business Intelligence and Knowledge Management, Business Process Management, Cloud Computing and Services in Global Settings, e-Health, ICT and Sustainable Global Development, Personal Data Markets and many more.

SAP again functioned as one of the main sponsors of this important academic conference. The SAP University Alliances team was present onsite with a booth to get in touch with professors from all over the world and to discuss contemporary IT-related topics and inform them about current co-innovation projects and academic research initiatives.
