SAP University Alliance offered a one-day Student Design Thinking Workshop on September 11, 2013.
More than 30 students from Germany, Austria, and Slovenia attended the Design
Thinking Jam.
I have been one of the lucky ones to attend this event in Munich. Throughout the day, we
developed ideas for the “Next Generation Information” system for students and the
“Mobile & Distance Learning Experience” in the 21st century. Both tasks
were solved in different steps along the Design Thinking method by six interdisciplinary
student groups.
I really enjoyed the day and I got to know several new procedures of tackling
challenges and solving problems. For me Design Thinking offers the opportunity
of experiencing a creative working method by collaborating with a variety of
people from different areas. Due to their different background you receive new
insights and experience synergies, which enable you to achieve a common goal
with a holistic approach.
Many thanks to the University Alliance Program for offering these creative workshops!
