On November 1, 2013, MBA students at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College heard how SAP is enabling the “Future of Retail: Delivering a Better Shopping Experience.”

Tim Hood, Global Vice President, Strategic Technologies, Chief Solution Architect, Retail Industry, SAP spoke to students gathered at the Tuck Tech Conference which this year focused on High-Tech Shopping and the Future of Retail. Tim shared how retailers face the challenge of integrating systems across disparate platforms for brick & mortar, catalog, web, and mobile. And how SAP as the world’s most significant enterprise technology company can mobile-enable the workplace, harnessing social media and running big data in real time to satisfy today’s retail customers.

SAP was a sponsor for the conference thanks to the support of Tom Redd, Vice President, SAP Global-Retail Business Unit, Strategic Communications, SAP.

As a member of SAP University Alliances, Dartmouth College uses SAP software for teaching at the Tuck School of Business, engages in co-innovation such as
