On Monday, July 11, 2016, American Bachelor Students visited SAP`s headquarter in Walldorf, Germany. The students were accompanied by Ms. Bianca Mihai from UIW European Study Center in Heidelberg. The UIW European Study Center (ESC) provides meaningful and affordable study abroad programs for students to live and learn in a new and different cultural setting. Courses, housing, and numerous excursions are included in the program. The student group visits for example courses like ‘Doing Business in Germany’ which are all taught in the English language either at the ESC or at the SRH University Heidelberg.

The UIW European Study Center has already visited SAP three times before and they will visit us again at the end of this year! However, to come back to the visit today: The group arrived in Walldorf at 1:00 pm and the visit started with a lunch in one of our Canteens. Afterwards, my colleague Andrea Tvarusko and I held a presentation. Our presentation included topics like information about SAP in general and the location here in Walldorf, our customers and we have explained why employees are enjoying working for SAP. In addition, we have focused on the pillars of our SAP University Alliances program. The students got also the chance to ask questions concerning SAP, which occurred during our presentation. The last program point was the SAP Inspiration Pavilion where the group learned more about SAP’s history and Big Data. For example, the students got to know how data is affecting our lives today and uncovered its enormous potential for the future.

Thank you very much for your visit and interest in SAP SE!
