UA students and professors were introduced to SAP Start-Up Program at a Meet-Up session hosted by SAP at NUS Enterprise in Singapore. They also had the opportunity to network with other start-ups in the ICT and Media Sector. Presented by Simon Dale, Head of Technology and Innovation, SAP APJ, we showcased SAP HANA and Analytics tools as the ultimate platform for real time application development and big data analysis. Participants have been invited to the next HANA hands-on workshop on 9 May to experience HANA via Amazon Web Services.
Representatives from NUS Enterprise, the entrepreneurial center owned by National University of Singapore, were on hand to explain how it supports individuals and organisations in their entrepreneurial pursuits through a range of activities and services. Through its incubator ecosystem, NUS Enterprise provides both the hard and soft infrastructure to nurture startups into viable companies, including provision of physical space, mentoring, match-making with venture capitalists/angel investors, startup funding schemes and IP advisory services.
