SAP UA India organized an Intro to ERP Workshop at Symbiosis Institute of International Business - Pune, from 22nd to 26th April 2013 .The workshop was delivered by Prof Viraja Bhat from Symbiosis Institute of International Business and was attended by 19 faculties from 9 UA schools. The workshop is on Introduction to SAP ERP using Global Bike Inc V2.1 goes a long way in building a strong foundation for SAP Courses. After attending this workshop the participants would be able to get a comprehensive understanding of the course and how it can be offered to the students.

Introduction to SAP ERP using GBI v2.11
We are pleased to invite University Alliances members to attend the Introduction to SAP ERP with GBI V2.11 workshop. This course is intended to explain how the fundamental business processes interact with SAP ERP in the functional areas of Sales and Distribution, Management, Production Planning, Financial Accounting, Controlling, Human Capital Management, Warehouse Management and Project Systems. Materials provided include presentation materials, exercises/solutions and an introduction exercise on navigating within the SAP ERP system.

Workshop Objectives:
This train-the-trainer workshop aims to prepare lecturers to:
- Describe how basic business processes are represented and integrated within SAP ERP
- Determine how this knowledge can be best incorporated into their university curriculum
- Be acquainted with teaching materials and resources to incorporate SAP content into curriculum

Cost:
The workshop is opened to SAP UA members only. It is provided free-of-charge to the faculty of our UA schools. However, attendees will have to bear their own travel, accommodation cost and working lunch. Each school can send a maximum of two attendees.
