INDUS (India User Group) hosted a successful BI Special Interest Group Conference on 20th March in Mumbai. 5 professors from 4 UA member schools attended the event. The UA faculties heard keynotes from members of the INDUS Board CN Ram (Group CIO ESSAR Group) and customer best practise sharing sessions on implementing SAP BI and how it changed their business operations. There were comprehensive sessions new features in SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.0 including a demo on SAP Predictive Analysis tool by SAP experts. Sessions on HANA (BI on Hana, ABAP on HANA and BW on HANA) were also held during the conference. This event also gave the UA member schools an opportunity to network and interact with SAP customers and partners. UA members were enthusiastic in exploring possible hiring opportunities for their students.
