SAP has donated €50,000 for Code for Charity where secondary school students can learn to code and at the same time contribute to the bursary fund for students in need. Initiated by the IDA Singapore, this challenge takes place concurrently at the open houses of all five polytechnics in Singapore from 9 to 11 Jan 2014 (Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic, Nanyang Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic and Republic Polytechnic). Over 10,000 prospective students, parents and teachers are exposed to the challenge in the over the three days.
